What reading level is Champion book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:
After a morning of experimentations, he’s finally fallen asleep. Outside, clouds blanket the entire city in a bleak atmosphere. Good. I wouldn’t know how to feel if it were a bright, sunny day, not with this news about Commander Jameson and the fact that she’d tried to shoot June out in the open on the streets. Clouds suit my mood just fine. While I wait impatiently for June to arrive at the hospital, I spend my time watching Tess through the glass of her room’s window. The lab team still su...rrounds her, monitoring her vitals like a bunch of goddy vultures on an old nature show. I shake my head. I shouldn’t be so hard on them. Earlier they let me put on a suit, sit inside next to Tess, and hold her hand. She was unconscious, of course, but she could still tighten her fingers around mine. She knows I’m here. That I’m waiting for her cure. Now the lab team looks like they’re injecting her with some sort of formula mixed from a batch of liquid made from Eden’s blood cells.
Guest 2 years agoHaven't finished it yet, but already soooo good!! I have read the first two, mind-blowing!!! The first book started out as a reading assignment in class, but I enjoyed it so much and decided to read more! And here I am, in the third book, amazed. Marie Lu is such a good writer! I was reading through some previous comments and I found out there is a fourth book, I didn't know that! Man, I can't wait 'till I finish this one, the whole series has been amazing so far, can't wait to read more!!
OH MY GOD RONNY!! 3 years agothis is a great book I really like it good book very good book can't wait for the fourth book in the series (rebel) to get on this website because I cannot buy it because i spent all my money on my house and my gaming setup (and minecraft and fortnite)
Guest 3 years agothis is a great book as well as the rest of the series, i can wait for the fourth book to get on this website (the fourth book is called Rebel)
Guest 3 years agoIt's just the 1st volume, the Prodigy, with the cover from the 3rd one...same thing as for the 2nd volume. Whomever made the uploads is a really bad prankster. There aren't any 2nd and 3rd volumes from the Legend series available here, only the 1st one uploaded 3 times, each time with a different cover and title. crap
Guest 4 years agoI really like this book series. One of the best ones I have ever read, really. The characters and the whole story is very well developed. I fell in love with this series the second my friends recommended it to me. I was hysterical by the end of the book, so when the ending ended up as a cliffhanger... Let's just say I wanted to scream. But I still love this series very, very much. Totally recommend it!
Guest 4 years agoI really enjoyed the book. I thought the ending was fine. I was surprised that it kept me in suspense so much. Glad I read it.
Guest 4 years agoThere was a snake and all of a sudden something appeared behind it... it was a turtle then the snake ran i don't know why, after there was a tall tree and it fell down at it almost hit the turtle so ,then the turtle ran for it's life and the turtle and snake became friends.
Guest 4 years agoYou drive me insane June. You're the scariest, most clever, bravest person I know, and sometimes I can't catch my breath because I'm trying so hard to keep up. There will never be another like you. You realize that, don't you? Billions of people will come and go in this world, but there will never be another like you.”
― Marie Lu, Champion
My reaction to the end: WHAT HOW CAN IT END LIKE THAT!
This book made me feel like exploding at points, but it was such an amazing experience. Let me just say it gave me all of the feels (if you know what I mean)! Day had a lot of character development, and so did June. They finally figure out themselves, and what they want. The plott twists were shocking! Most of the time I had no clue what was going happen.
Overall this book was a roller coaster.
Funny, sad, happy, and mysterious this series has it all! If you have not read the Legend series yet, where have you been?
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE 3 years agoim not dead......................................................................................................................yet.

Guest 4 years agoA race against time, the country at the brink of war interlaced with malicious propaganda, a-what-goes-around-comes-all-the-way-back-around virus, political bickering and magnetic touchdowns. I mean w-o-w, it couldn't have gotten any better.
Marie Lu gave a lucid picture of the world she created, perhaps she knows the art of telepathy because her words created bridges between her mind and mine. Antarctica was pretty impressive particularly its internet service!
Guest 4 years agoThe explosive finale to Marie Lu’s New York Times bestselling LEGEND trilogy—perfect for fans of THE HUNGER GAMES and DIVERGENT!
He is a Legend.
She is a Prodigy.
Who will be Champion?
June and Day have sacrificed so much for the people of the Republic—and each other—and now their country is on the brink of a new existence. June is back in the good graces of the Republic, working within the government’s elite circles as Princeps Elect while Day has been assigned a high level military position. But neither could have predicted the circumstances that will reunite them once again. Just when a peace treaty is imminent, a plague outbreak causes panic in the Colonies, and war threatens the Republic’s border cities. This new strain of plague is deadlier than ever, and June is the only one who knows the key to her country’s defense. But saving the lives of thousands will mean asking the one she loves to give up everything he has. With heart-pounding action and suspense, Marie Lu’s bestselling trilogy draws to a stunning conclusion.
