He alluded to the great interest felt in the publications of the Abbe Guettee ;^ to the ^ Who represented at that time in the Union Chretienm and the Observateur Catholique the Gallican element in France, and whose valuable " Histoire de I'Eglise de France " had recently been put into the Index at Rome.
