" The Church to which Mr. Birch was then ministering sent "a full denial to us about their reverend pastor; they, finding what we had done to be to their great sorrow, did most christian like desire us to forbear 57 any further procedure in the matter. " To which the Yarmouth Church replied "with all tenderness, love, and charity, endeav- ouring by all possible arguments to prevail with them to give up their reverend pastor to us here.
