Yates. (Loudly) I'm coming and coming strong. If this fellow tells what he knows in court he'll tell it as the defendant in his own trial and not as a witness against this girl — and what he tells will send him to the penitentiary. All we have to do is to swear out a warrant.
CoAKLEY. (In great excitement) A warrant!
You're not going to let him get a warrant, Judge.
Yates. What the Hell has he got to do with that. He ain't the only lawyer in town. You'd better make up your mind not to tell any tales, young fellow.
