I wrote my doctoral dissertation on the impact of the Pick-Sloan dam projects on the Sioux Tribes along the Missouri River, and this manuscript was later published as a book entitled, "Dammed Indi- ans. " Last year I prepared a report on the specific impacts of the Fort Randall and Big Bend dam projects on the Crow Creek Reserva- tion, its resources, and tribal members.
