Her services were sought for, and at last obtained by Kev. Henry O. Sheldon, the agent of the Nor walk Academy and Presiding Elder of the Norwalk District, and this was the first school of any note or importance in the Methodist Episcopal Church in Ohio. Soon after this Rev. J. E. Chaplin was appointed President of this Institution of learning.
