Perimeter Security For physical security, the department relies on walls and doors that comprise the perimeter of the data center within the Mitchell Building. DofA uses a key card access system to secure the doors.
Only individuals with access assigned within the key card database are permitted beyond the data center doors. While a key card system can be an effective control, during our walkthrough we noted that not all of the walls on the perimeter of the data center extend up to the ceiling.
