What reading level is Development of Natural Gas And Oil Resources On the Outer Continental Shelf He book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

While we support the Clinton Administration's goal of increasing the demand for natural gas, we have to have new supplies to meet that demand. At present, we are producing at near capacity and have to import some gas from Canada. The Energy Information Agency recently predicted a 26 percent jump in Canadian gas imports, rising to 2. 4 trillion cubic feet in 1994. We have the technology and the reserves to accommodate an increase in demand, but are prohibited from doing so by the Congress. Remov...ing disincentives, receiving a solid energy policy from the Administration and enacting incentives legislation would benefit this industry and the nation as a whole with jobs and increased domestic energy production.
In closing, again I appreciate this opportunity to testify today. We are supportive of incentives proposals and offer ourselves to help in any way this Subcommittee feels would be beneficial. I will try to answer any questions you may have.
