What reading level is Development of Tools to Represent Deisgn Procedures book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

This work allows the designers to see the entire design activity from a global perspective. The order in which parameters are determined can have a significant effect on the execution of the design and these features are revealed in the matrix. The details of this work are presented in the next section.
Most recently we have used the matrix representation as a management aid to analyze the organizational structure of design projects usin? the individual information requirements of the engineeri
...ng tasks [6, 19]. As an aid to better design management, we have used the matrix to identify tasks which are constrained to be serial by nature of the information flow connecting them. Conversely, the matrix also allows quick identification of tasks which can be performed in parallel. This representation has proven useful in studying the changes required in the implementation of concurrent engineering strategies [5]. These results are discussed further in the final section of this paper.
11 Comparison of Representations To compare the design models constructed by the different techniques, we modeled design activities using the IDEFO and matrix methods presented above.
