These were passedover to the trained girls waiting to receive them. In a jiffy, they werewashed, wrung out, rinsed and dried. It was noticed that thoseelf-maidens, who were standing at the last tub, were intently expectingto do something great, while those five elf maids at the table took offthe hot irons from the stove.
