I am pleased to be here today to discuss our shared interest in facilitating the use of high technology to improve the environment. The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) agrees with the Subcommittee on Technology and the Subcommittee on Energy and Environment that the development and deployment of cleaner, safer and cheaper environmental technologies in the U.
