Ruby K. Badger, '16, of Erie, Pa., has been engaged as field worker by the Warren State Hospital, Warren, Pa., in place of Mrs. Anna W. Finlay- son, resigned. Miss Badger was sent by the Hospital to take the summer training course for field workers in Eugenics at the Record Office this summer.
NASSAU COUNTY SURVEY.
The organization for the eugenic survey of Nassau County has been completed and the work is now under way. Dr. A. J. Rosanoff of Kings Park Hospital is director of the sur- vey and D...r. Harry W. Crane, '15, is in charge of field workers. Dr.' John R. Wiseman and Dr. Inez A. Bentley are physicians for the survey and the following have been appointed as reg- ular field workers: Marjorie Fulstow, '14 ; Virginia R. Brown, '12 ; Edith G.
Donnelly, '12; Adele McKinney, '11; and Anna E. Steffan, '12. The eugenics class for 1916 is also assigned to limi- ted areas. It is planned to examine selected persons in all parts of the county and all persons in certain se- lected parts. The purpose of the sur- vey is first to find the amount of men- tal defect in the community and sec- ond to get a picture of the eugenic constitution of the community, show- ing the economic productivity, health, and fertility of various sections.
