AMERSFOORT, a town on the Eem, 12 miles east-north-east of Utrecht, with 13, 000 inhabitants. Other towns of this province are : Rhenen (with 3, 000 inhabitants, and the so called king's house, where the unfortunate Elector Frederic V.
