The Indian corn was destroyed by the frost of the 11th inst. And it is doubtful whether seed can be obtained for another year. The horse beans have been housed in good order; they are very pro- ductive, and deserve attention by every cultivator that has soil fit for them. The picking of hops was concluded at the close of the month; the planters had a dry time for that labour; the quantity and qua- lity are both deficient, when compared with more favourable years.
