The sacrifice of so much time in the very best season of the school year was no slight one, and made him pause ; yet he concluded to make the sacrifice and suspend classes for the time. Evidently the parish endorsed his decision. The people turned themselves with a will to decorate the hall, and to do everything to make the bazaar a success.
