Caramel Ice Cream.
Vs cup thin cream, or 1}^ tablespoons sugar.
Ve cup milk and 1 tablespoon boiling water.
Ve cup heavy cream. ^ teaspoon vanilla.
Few grains salt.
Put sugar in a small saucepan; place on range and stir constantly until melted. Add water, and boil until mixture is reduced to one tablespoon. Add cream very slowly, vanilla, and salt; then freeze.
