ROOT. Excellent. (Taking out cigarette case. ) May I offer you a cigarette ?
DOROTHY. Sank you vair rnooch, non. It makes bad for ze voice.
ROOT. The voice ? Ah ! (Taking out a cigarette. ) Will you forgive me if I have one ?
