Assigned to Company F, 131st Infantry. Killed in action August 9, 1918 in battle of Chipilly Ridge. Buried in British Military Cemetery (English map 62-D-K22-A41). Survived by widow, Edna C. Prather, and daughter, Lizetta, Indian- apolis.
