Anecdote. Thirty young men, ranging from seventeen to twenty-five years of age, were assembled to recite in col- lege, and while the professor was arranging his desk^ they amused themselves by tossing an old wig, which one of their number had stolen, as a joke, from the room of its owner, backward and forward across the room.
