...ion has just been presented by Messrs. D. A. Gage, treasurer, and L. "W. Volk, secretary: On behalf of the board of trustees of the Douglas Monument Association, and for the information of the public, the treasurer and secretary would respectfully make a brief statement of the affairs of the society — more particularly of the funds collected and expended since its organization.
The cash receipts to February 13, 1865, amount to the total sum of seven thousand five hundred and ten (17,510.94) dollars, includ- ing two hundred and ten (1210) dollars interest allowed by the treasurer.
