Our witnesses have each had long and varied careers in the U. S. Intelligence comm...unity. The breadth and depth of their experience should serve us well as we grapple with questions concerning the future mission, structure, and personnel of the nation's intelligence agencies.
I am especially interested in hearing from our witnesses their views on the following questions: 1) Should the United States strive to maintain its intelligence capabilities at the cutting edge of technology, or should we make do with "good enough" capabilities?
2) What is the proper balance between the CIA and Defense intelligence?
