Ether 10 fluid ounces.

Acetic acid No. 8- 1 fluid ounces.
Water - - - - - 20 fluid ounces.
These proportions may be varied, however, if it is found advisable to change them. Fix with solution of cyanide of potassium of such strength as to clear the film rather quickly.
The instructions already given for the manipulation of dry-plates will be followed so far as they are applicable. If bath wet plates have been exposed in the photo- heHograph, the plate-frame must be thoroughly cleansed from all traces of nitrate of silver before dry-plates are put into it.
