OF THE EIGHTS
...OF WIDOW AND HUSBAND. 33 If the deceased leaves no descendant, but leaves a parent, the widow takes one-half.^® If the deceased leaves no descendant or parent, but leaves a brother, sister, nephew, or niece, the widow takes, besides the one-half above referred to, all of the other half to the amount of, but not to exceed, two thousand dollars.-'^ If the deceased leaves no descendant, parent, brother, sister, nephew, or niece, the widow takes all.^* A woman divorced in 'New York, for her own or her husband's infidelity, is not entitled to a dis- tributive share as widow.
