" The delay in the issue of the Transact...ions for 1851 is a source of much regret to your Committee ; but the members maybe assured that it has arisen solely from adeiire to present them with the work in such a form as will prove creditable to the Society; and in a few weeks it is hoped that the part for 1851 will be issued, vrith an index and title page, completing the l^t Volume of the Society's Transactions.
