What reading level is Journal of the North Carolina Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church [serial] 1982 book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

Minnis of the home; two sons Dr. Jesse F. Minnis, Jr. of California, James Morgan Minnis of Hillsborough, N.C.; one daughter Betty Jean Minnis of Maryland; four brothers, Morton Stokes of Philadelphia, Pa.; Milton Stokes of Detroit, Mich.; Leslie Stokes of Louisville, Ky; and Curtis Stokes of Sun City, Nevada; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Tournier of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Doris Mickey of Florida, and Mrs.
Dorothy Kelly of Sun City, Nevada, and three grandchildren. Meryl's funeral was held at the
... Chestnut Ridge United Methodist Church, and interment was in the church cemetery.
Meryl was always faithful in the stewardship of her time and talents and used them gracefully to further the work of the church. In death as in life still thinking of others, she had requested in lieu of flowers at her funeral that memorials be made to the Chestnut Ridge Church Building Fund. The large number of contributors speaks well of our beloved Meryl. Her memory will always linger to enrich and bless the lives of all who knew her.
