PALE shadows round my head. In whispering conference, Nurses moved, and one said, " B. One-seven-five ref'rence, A. F. Discharge, " like ghosts, They swayed unreal about The room, The Red Cross hosts.
I wished someone would shout — 1 wanted so to sleep.
A cruel " Hush !" " Be quiet.
