That Julius Elmore, of Sangamon county, Thomas Boycc and J. R. Bennett, of -Morgan county be, Commissioners anc i they are hereby appointed commissioners to view, mark, and locate a state road, commencing at a mile post south of Petter Cartright's, in Sangamon county, thence to William Crow's, in Morgan -county, running as near as practicable to the old road leading'from one point to the other, and there intersect the road laid out by the' county commissioners' court- of Morgan county, lead- ing to Princeton, and then west with said survey as far as Stark Giliiams, thence through the settlement of Henry Keltn-or's timber, thence to the head timber of Wal- nut Grove, thence to New Virginia.
