Cqfting down to the earth with the hand; overthrowing, even to the ground, that glorious fuperftructure of church and date which had been reared among them, and long preferved with care and expence. Let us endeavour to learn thefe indructive leflbns, which are frequently repeated in this prophecy ; and earnedly beg of God, to feal our profit by every opening of the mouth.
3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim fhall be trodden under feet.
