no LIFE OF JOHN LINGARD The burdens of office, increased by the failing health of president Eyre, left Lingard less time than ever for literary work, and an Introduction to Talbofs Protes- tant Apology for the Catholic Churchy published in 'Dublin in 1809, and a Defence of Ward's Errata to the Protestant Bible (Dublin, 1810), were the only works from his pen during the remainder of his life at Ushaw.
