When they began to raise the sails, and return to the Orcades islands and Ireland, they saw a terri- ble man riding by day and night and pursuing them in every part ; that teiTÌble horseman was the holy Gwynllyw, who was sent from heaven to oppose the sacrilegious per- sons.
