Narrowly umbilicated, rather solid, growth-lines oblique, rugose, with irregular sinuous spiral striae above the periphery ; straw- color, sometimes stained darker on the spire, and around the umbilicus ; whorls 5, the last with subplicate carina on the periphery. Diam. 36, alt. 21 mill. Ava. The only figure published (copied above) has the growth-lines much more rugose than in the type, whilst the spiral sculpture is obsolete ; it is an extreme variety at least.
