Pain Not Associated with Urination. — Thirteen patients were free from any pain referable to the kidney or ureter. Of these, 6 had ureters that were readily 122 RENAL TUBERCULOSIS catheterized. The other 7 had been cystoscoped, the opposite side readily catheterized in each instance, but it was found impossible to pass any instruments up the ureters of the infected kidneys.
