Both these sermons were on occasion of the melancholy events of the last week, (a great fire;) and both most excellently calculated to do good.
Dr. Hollinshead was in a most particular manner serious, pathetic, and animated. May God bless the pious labours of our good ministers, and their constant attention to seize every opportunity, when the hearts of their hearers are most likely to be impressible, to do the work of the Lord, and preach his word with fidelity and zeal.
