Question 17. Question 17 was called. Who have been located at their own request ? Ans. J. A. Maston.
Questions 18, 19, 20 and 21 were called. The answeres to which were, None.
Question 22. Ans. S.... E. Dunham, a Deacon from the A.
M. E. Zion Church ; A. M. Erwin, a Deacon from the Baptist Church, and A. D. McDonald, a Deacon from the C. M. E.
Church, were recommended for recognition of orders with- out admission into the Conference.
Fifty-Ninth Session 23 Question 8 was called. Ans. J. A. Cherry and J. W.
Shuford, previously elected and ordained Deacons were ad- mitted into full membership.
Bishop Addresses Class. The Conference sang hymn 208.
Bishop Edwin H. Hughes delivered the address to the class for admission from the subject, "The Example of Christ as a Preacher." The candidates answered in the affirmative the questions prescribed by the Discipline, after which the Conference sang hymn 180.
