At 9:00 o'clock Bishop Hughes asked for the jounral of Friday's session, which journal was read by the Secretary and approved by the Conference.

M. E. Zion Church ; A. M. Erwin, a Deacon from the Baptist Church, and A. D. McDonald, a Deacon from the C. M. E.
Church, were recommended for recognition of orders with- out admission into the Conference.
Fifty-Ninth Session 23 Question 8 was called. Ans. J. A. Cherry and J. W.
Shuford, previously elected and ordained Deacons were ad- mitted into full membership.
Bishop Addresses Class. The Conference sang hymn 208.
Bishop Edwin H. Hughes delivered the address to the class for admission from the subject, "The Example of Christ as a Preacher." The candidates answered in the affirmative the questions prescribed by the Discipline, after which the Conference sang hymn 180.
