A petition from William Peeland and Margaret his wife, con- victed at a Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the county of Philadelphia, of having kept a disorderly house, and sen- tenced by the said court (among other things) each to pa}'^ to the use of the State a fine of one hundred pounds, and that the said William Peal stand committed for the space of three months, and until the residue of the sentence be complied with, was read, pray- ing remission of one-half of the fines aforesaid, and the residue of the said term of imprisonment : On consideration, Resolved, That the prayer of the said petition be granted.
