What reading level is Montana Outdoors Vol 32 No 3 May/jun 2001 book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

Most of the whitefish harvest comes from a hook- and-line fishery in the upper Flathead River. Anglers catch few lake whitefish in Flathead Lake, so the only way to significantly increase harvest in Flat- head Lake is through trapping, he believes.
Mohn also believes regulation changes called for in the plan should be put on a fast track. "We can't wait a year or two to increase the whitefish limit to 100 fish," he says. Mohn notes that the citizen committee approach was a good one, and believe
...s the public- should remain in close contact as the co-management plan goes forward.
Agreeing with the need for public involvement, committee member George Hover urges managers to listen to anglers who regularly fish the lake and river system. He has high praise for creel workers who contact and inter- view anglers, and suggests that FWP and tribal biologists spend time talking to anglers and looking at their catches to "ground-truth" their findings. Hover says he is "optimistically enthusiastic" that the plan will be a success, as long as the agencies stay true to the plan's goals and take great care in collecting and analyzing fisheries data.
