PLACING TRAPS Trapping conditions will vary from set to set, but the basic fundamentals for placing traps will remain the same. When placing traps under water or in wet or oozy mud, make sure that there is no mud or other ob- struction under the pan. A rock, old board, or other solid object will make a firm platform for a trap bed.
