In addition the Lottery was required to contribute for its portion of the reserve fund accumulated since the start of the Multi-State Lottery. Note 10: Lotto*America Prizes and Investments - Prizes awarded to Lotto*America grand prize winners are paid 20 annual installments. The Multi-State Lottery purchases United States Treasury zero coupon bonds to finance the remaining installments of the grand prizes.
