He married, first, Jane, daughter of Rev. John Sparhawk, Oct. 6, 1767; and, second, Priscilla, daughter of William Greenleaf, March iS, 1794. The ...remains of his first wife Jane (d. 1790) ; his daughter Jane (d. 1791) ; his sons William (d. 1S02), Nathaniel (d. 1S1S, with his wife, Elizabeth Ward, d. 1S19), Henry (d. 1S23), John Sparhawk, A. M. (d. 1S24, with his wife, Mary Lander, d. 1S3S), and Alfred Greenleaf (d. 1S65) ; his grandchildren, Mary Lander and Peter Lander (children of John Sparhawk A. ), and Henry (son of Nathaniel A. ) ; and his great-grand children, Robert and Sarah Jane (chil- dren of John A. ), were also buried in this tomb.
