The young divine entered with a swinging stride. " Howdy, " he called out cheerily in local parlance. But when inside the low-raftered, dirty little log cabin he discovered a girl, with a pair of wonderful violet eyes, holding a kind of floral monument, he stopped short and blinked hard.
