What cannot be denied, however, is that a priest outside of the sacred Mukhtaar blood line ascended and was henceforth... known as a Mukhtaar Lord.Of interest here, however, is that Lord Halabi is never referred to as “Lord Mukhtaar” in subsequent texts. Only “Lord Halabi” or “Lord Mujahid”. This is likely the origin of the dual attributions of Mukhtaar Lords.
