What reading level is Notes And Recollections of An Angler: Rambles Among Mountains, Valleys, And ... book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

The shores of Llyn Ybi are flat and open, of easy walking, althou^ rather wet and boggy in some parts. The best dish of fish we ever saw from Ybi was at Dolgelley, in the month of June, 1865: they had been caught at night with the "board." There were about two dozen trout of from half a pound to one pound eadi, in high condition. It is a pity that such a valuable lake as Ybi is for flne trout, should be so utterly spoiled. The distance to this pool from Llanbedr is about eight miles, and the ro
...ad is, at least for half the distanee, exoeedin^y rough, and the climbing arduous. There is a path from Llyn Ybi over the steep shoulder of Llether, and from thence along the high ridge called Crib y Eiiiw, at the foot of which lies the small pool Llyn Dulyn ; we prefer, however, returning to Llanbedr by Cwm Nantcol, as Dulyn belongs to another group of lakes which lie about one mile nearer to Llanbedr than those near Cwm NantcoL 2ltIgnmHtt ^rhbgn; |PiifWgtt> JtilgJt.
The road to these lakes is along the old mountain horse-road to Dolgelley, over the wild hills called Llaw Llech.
