STATISTICS. 209 Indigo is found wild in great quantities in many parts of Oajaca, Tabasco, Yucatan, Chiapas, Michoacan, and Colima. That produced in the last-mentioned place is considered to be of a superior quality.
Rice is cultivated to a considerable extent in the Tierras Calientes, in damp and marshy situations, and yields from 40 to 60 per cent.
