Ask the child to take a deep breath, press one finger against the side of the nostril and ask him to exhale with closed mouth.
A. INDIVIBUAIi OBSERVATION AND INSPECTION.
1. Is the air passage closed, or nearly so?
2. Is it due to a temporary cold?
3. Are there indications of any foreign bodies present in the nose?
4. Are the bones enlarged?
6. Is the septum deflected?
