J. M. Joass, and were all presented to the Museum of the Society. Of these, deeply dyed by the peat, one was the frontal portion of the skull, with the characteristic smaU horn-core of left side, measuring 4 inches in circumference at the base, the horn being broken towards the point ; with other bones of the ancient small ox, the Bos longifrons.
