For tilling the cavities of ulcers of the eyes, the best of all those we "have mentioned are the sphaerion and the col- lyrium of Fhiles. The same sphaerion is an exrollent me- dicine for inveterate ulcers, and such as can scarcely be brought to cicatrize.
