LEDWELL 20 NORTH CAROLINA ANNUAL CONFEREN CE A RESOLUTION Whereas the holding of the Annual Conference in a given place helps the local church or institution in many ways; inspirationally..., informationally and materially, and in many instances the fact that the Conference in honoring a local church by accepting its invitation also helps in many cases the pastor and officers to be able to get the much needed repairs and building done for the entertainment of the Conference that would not otherwise be done at that time.
The inspiration that the coming of a Bishop always brings, the coming of General Officers along with the members and friends of the Conference will give the young people and many others of the church and community an opportunity to see the Bishop, representatives of the General Boards, their own pastor and delegates in action, thereby receiving inspiration and information which will help them in building their own characters and in developing their own Christian lives.
