Any Bachelor of Civil Law may be admitted to the degree of Doctor of Civil Law if he (i) has occupied himself in the study of Civil Law for five complete years, to be reckoned from the date of his admission to the degree of Bachelor of Civil Law, and (2) has written a Dissertation upon some legal subject approved by the Regius Professor of Civil Law.
