Neutral Carmine (see page 283). — Neutral carmine is a diffuse stain, and is employed more especially for the central nervous system and for bone.
Filter one or two drops of the solution into 20 c. C. Of dis- tilled water, and leave the sections in the dilute solution over night. 2. Wash out a little in 90 per cent, alcohol.
3. Dehydrate in absolute alcohol.
