At that time among other lands he owned 4 tracts in Luzerne, then Northumberland, on heads of Tunkhannock creek, Nos. 7, 8, 9 ft 10; being part of a survey of 3087 as. 39 ps., made 28th to 30th Sept. 1775. The papers respecting this have been formerly searched ft found among the old papers of the Executive Council. The information desired is whether the title to this property yet remains in the Commonwealth, so that a legal title can be obtained from it; or whether it has been restored to the heirs of Allen or granted to any 404 FORFEITED ESTATES, other.
